Fitness Assessment
An important part of any responsible training program, a fitness assessment objectively measures your current level of physical fitness. Without an effective fitness assessment, growth cannot be accurately measured. BalancedBodi's fitness assessment incorporates many different methods to achieve accurate results.
The Fitness assessment measures:

  • BMI (Body Mass Index)
  • Physical endurance
  • Muscle strength
  • Body Measurements
  • Discussion of Goals

Tracking Results
An essential part of any fitness process is tracking results. To maximize your progress, we monitor and adjust your program as needed. We can continually tailor your program so that you are getting what you need to achieve your goals.

Balancing That Body of Yours


Beginning Yoga
Through a beginner-based program, you will learn step-by-step instruction and proper technique based on the Ashtange Vinyasa practice. While you become accustomed to your personal practice, you will have a greater body awareness and increase strength while simultaneously increasing flexibility and endurance of this tradition. BalancedBodi offers private, couples, and group rates.

Learn to Swim
BalancedBodi instructs a Learn-To-Swim program specifically designed for you. We are certified by the American Red Cross to use a uniquely designed six-level instructional approach that has been successful in teaching people (from children to adults) how to swim since 1914. BalancedBodi offers private or small group lessons. 

Water Workouts
BalancedBodi can design personal water aerobic and/or cardiovascular workouts based on your fitness level. With a background in teaching Water Aerobics, Swim Conditioning, and Aqua Fit classes, we aim to please you and improve your health and fitness with a workout that is challenging, exciting, rewarding, and diverse. Water exercise is proven to improve muscular strength, endurance, increase flexibility, and expand cardiovascular fitness. Low impact exercises in the water reduce the risk of injury  BalancedBodi offers private or small group lessons.

Fitness Workouts
BalancedBodi can design dry-land workouts personalized to fit your schedule and fitness level. Whether you want a cardiovascular, core, or weight workout, we can help. With experience teaching Body Sculpting, Core, Flexibility, and Boot Camp classes, we have something for everyone. BalancedBodi offers private or small group lessons.

Donation-based and Community Yoga
BalancedBodi believes that everyone should be able to enjoy the gift of health without a price tag attached. We have designed multiple community classes that are either "donation based", strictly donations accepted, or "community classes", which only cost $5 per person, and occur roughly twice a month. Classes are held both indoors and outdoors. Mommy & Me Workouts
What better way to introduce you children into the world of health and exercise than by doing it with them! We offer Mommy & Me workouts which are very popular and convenient for stay-at-home moms in desperate need of a quick workout. Whether you are looking for yoga, swim, or cardio, we can assist you feeling the benefits of exercising with your children. Lauren has many years of experience working with children from running her own childcare center and organizing summer camps. I'm sure you will find these classes enjoyable and rewarding!
